Saturday Cruisin’

March 1, 2014

Saturdays are easy {kinda like Sunday morning}. You wake up late, decide how you’re going to spend the day, and head out. You may meet friends for brunch or head to the market for tonight’s dinner.

You may even be this stylish pair and cruise downtown on your bike. Meet Ese and Jack.

We met them at Piedmont Park’s Green Market this Saturday and the two immediately caught our attention. Well dressed pair, vintage yet modern bikes, and their love for tea! They purchased our georgia peaches and black coconut tea and rode off into the park. What a perfect way to spend a Saturday! Carefree and cruising on bikes while enjoying the city.
So… Next Saturday, when you roll out of bed, put a little dapper in your wardrobe. Have an agenda but none at all. Get a little bit of effortless exercise. And enjoy the day {oh and a cup of tea, of course}!

where are you today?

love your mama

November 15, 2011

when you think of your mama, what comes to mind? love, a certain smell, her delicious meals from scratch? how much do you “love your mama”? rhetorical question folks.

well… Mama loves you too!

Mama Bath + Body is just as good as your mama {maybe better!}. They put in lots of love, yummy scents, and make everything from scratch to offer up soaps, lotions, and candles just like your mama.

Their quaint shop in Decatur is a heavenly stop on your path to home {or mama’s house}. At the door you are welcomed in by lemongrass, lavender, mint, and the smell of fresh. While there, you can create your own signature lotion scent or choose one of the winners that Mama makes. And no matter where you live, Mama even has soaps that you can represent your ‘hood with. Beginning in January, Mama’s will fire up the stove and teach you how to keep it clean and make a bar or two.

On Saturday, December 10, Mama will open her doors to holiday shoppers and introduce you to her crafty friends. Mama’s Handmade Holiday will showcase Atlanta’s finest in the gift giving/keeping.

Don’t keep Mama waiting… Stop by Mama Bath + Body to smell good {sniff, sniff} and pick up a tin of tea while you’re there.

From bean to bar and everything in between, The Botanical Gardens (Atlanta, GA) is the place to be this weekend!

Atlanta’s Botanical Gardens will host a Chocolate Covered Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, September 10-11, 2011. You will be able to learn about the cacao tree, where the magic begins. The Garden will also feature local chefs demos, sweet treats from bakers, and fun for the entire family. And just add honey will be there to offer the perfect complement, chocolate teas.

This is sure to be an event that will keep you savoring for more!

a fresh start

March 4, 2010

lifting. packing. moving. repeat.

With every move, there is new excitement. A blank canvas awaits. Of course moving also comes with its share of anxiety, fears, and the unknown. But isn’t that the fun part? That is where we are now.

Beehive Co Op Atlanta is closing its doors Friday, March 5, 2010. They are leaving behind five years of love and support in the Buckhead community to begin a fresh start.

A new home in the bustling Edgewood Shopping District will house the beehive. a local boutique.

We welcome change and look forward to a fresh start!
