love your mama

November 15, 2011

when you think of your mama, what comes to mind? love, a certain smell, her delicious meals from scratch? how much do you “love your mama”? rhetorical question folks.

well… Mama loves you too!

Mama Bath + Body is just as good as your mama {maybe better!}. They put in lots of love, yummy scents, and make everything from scratch to offer up soaps, lotions, and candles just like your mama.

Their quaint shop in Decatur is a heavenly stop on your path to home {or mama’s house}. At the door you are welcomed in by lemongrass, lavender, mint, and the smell of fresh. While there, you can create your own signature lotion scent or choose one of the winners that Mama makes. And no matter where you live, Mama even has soaps that you can represent your ‘hood with. Beginning in January, Mama’s will fire up the stove and teach you how to keep it clean and make a bar or two.

On Saturday, December 10, Mama will open her doors to holiday shoppers and introduce you to her crafty friends. Mama’s Handmade Holiday will showcase Atlanta’s finest in the gift giving/keeping.

Don’t keep Mama waiting… Stop by Mama Bath + Body to smell good {sniff, sniff} and pick up a tin of tea while you’re there.

Blue skies. Warm weather. Happy days are here!

just add honey has been a busy little bee!!!

We will also have our beloved tins of tea for you to take home. And {drum roll}… we will debut our newest and yummiest project! We partnered with Kriya Kitchen to offer tealicious shortbread. the art of giving

March 31, 2011

As the saying goes, “It is better to give than to receive”. or “What you give is what you’ll get in return”. How about, “Thanks for nothing!” Okay, maybe you haven’t said the last one but thought it. Sometimes nothing is better than a unthoughtful gift.

No more excuses. No more of the same ole, same ole.

Introducing.. {drum roll}… The Mostess Hostess. And she is just that.

Beautiful presentation. Perfect gifts inside. And none of that stale jerky and crackers junk (side note:: she carries our tea!!!). She sources local companies, one of kind finds to offer you the best gift for your giftee. You can rest assure that nothing in your basket will be shared or re-gifted.

Stop stressing and consider your gifting done.

have you heard the news?!

January 13, 2011

just add honey is one of the newest members of Beehive Shops!

Lover of local {by design}, Petra Geiger offers talented crafters an outlet to sell handmade, not homemade, wares, gifts, and accessories. And just add honey has joined the ranks of talent from all around the US of A!

Featured on the site are our iced tea samplers. Coined the “champagne of the south”, iced tea is a Southern staple of most homes. Why not have our yummy teas to quench your thirst?! Included are 1oz tins of georgia peaches{black tea}, tropical green{green tea}, mint to be{herbal tea}, and berries!{friut tea}, honey sticks, and tea filters. The only thing missing are ice and friends.

We also have our love it a latte gift set available. But it’s only if a gift if you want to share.  1oz tins of chocolate delight {black tea} chocolate mint rooibos {herbal tea} green caramel {green tea} vanilla chai {black tea}, honey sticks, and tea filters. Perfect with milk, soy, or cream, each cup delivers happiness.

While you are filling your shopping carts with our teas also pick up a cup sleeve from SoSheSews. Quirky saying on each sleeve made from fused, recycled plastic bags, if you must drink your tea on the go, do it in style, please!

When the friends join you for a cup, pull out the good stuff! Lio and Linn handcraft elegant twig spoons that are perfect for any occasion. The spoons are cast in yellow bronze from hand-carved wax. Green tea with envy!

Too cute to use, tiny peepers screen printed kitchen towels are perfect alongside the teapot. Each 100% cotton towel is made by hand with water-based, non-toxic inks. Casually walk away and view the ooohs and ahhhs from a distance.

These are just a few of the talented designers on the site, but trust me there’s more. Don’t believe me, see it for yourself. Grab a cup of tea and browse. You’ll be there for a minute.
